MONTHLY MEETINGS
WHEN:
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm
(no meeting is held in July)

VIRTUAL: Monthly meetings will be held virtually over the Zoom platform until further notice. Attendees can join using video or may dial in.
Members are emailed the login information monthly prior to the meeting.

The general public is welcome to attend. Please contact our Zoom administrator by clicking the button below for access instructions.
PRESENTATIONS:
PVKC invites members to suggest topics or speakers for presentation at monthly meetings. Past topics included: canine acupuncture, tick-borne diseases, carting, canine search and rescue, puppy contracts, estate planning for your pet, Dept. of Animal Welfare discussion of Maine's Pet Lemon law and a discussion about the Crufts Dog Show.
IN PERSON:
The December meeting (first Tuesday of December) is held in person. After a short meeting and annual election of officers, it is an opportunity to socialize. Typically, we have a potluck and a bit of fun with a Yankee swap.
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
The President's Report is followed by Committee Reports. Old and new business is discussed. New membership applications are reviewed. Monthly speakers that have expertise in various areas of dog endeavors are invited to make a short presentation.
If in person meetings are held, the meeting is followed by light refreshments provided by members on a rotating, voluntary basis.
