MONTHLY MEETINGS
WHEN:
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm
(no meeting is held in July)​
​VIRTUAL: In the winter months, meetings are held virtually. Attendees can join using video or may dial in.
IN PERSON:
In-person meetings are held at the Comins Hall, 1387 Main Road, Eddington, Maine, on US Route 9 about 1000 feet west of the intersection with US Route 46. See map below for directions.
THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME: PVKC meetings are open to the public. This is an excellent opportunity for prospective members to find sponsors and to ask questions about our events. New members are required to attend two meetings
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
The President's Report is followed by Committee Reports. Old and new business is discussed. New membership applications are reviewed. Monthly speakers that have expertise in various areas of dog endeavors are invited to make a short presentation.
PRESENTATIONS:
PVKC invites members to suggest topics or speakers for presentation at monthly meetings. Past topics included: Fast CAT, canine acupuncture, tick-borne diseases, carting, canine search and rescue, puppy contracts, estate planning for your pet, Dept. of Animal Welfare discussion of Maine's Pet Lemon law and a discussion about the Crufts Dog Show.
