Please join us for PVKC’s biggest event of the year! Cumberland Fairground’s relaxed, friendly, country setting is a perfect venue for a family outing. There is lots of day parking – admission and parking is free!
Bring the kids and future junior handlers to see all the breeds at their finest. Each day will feature an all-breed show with two all breed shows on Thursday. Specialty shows include Shetland Sheepdogs, Brittanys and German Shorthaired Pointers.
Be sure to check out the action at the Obedience and Rally trials on Saturday and Sunday. The show rings and OB/Rally are in two separate areas. To find OB and Rally, go past the Farm Museum and Sugar House to the Pulling Arena.
We encourage you to relax & gather at the picnic tables scattered throughout the grounds. Lunch is available on the grounds at The Maine Dish. Watch the show from the bleachers or bring your own lawn chairs. Stop by the PVKC tent to enter the Maine Products & Grooming Table Raffles.
It’s a great opportunity to shop for dog products from our many great vendors including a dog food & treat bakery (Happy Dog), dog shampoo & grooming products, made in Maine crafts, and hard to find things from Doggie Safe n Dry.
If you might be interested in showing, obedience or rally or are encouraging a junior handler to get started, there will be many experienced and friendly members of the PVKC at the show that would be happy to answer any questions.
